Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Eevee Guide

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the protagonist is situated in the Hisui region, previously known as the Sinnoh region in the Pokemon universe. The player will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short), specifically the Survey Corps, responsible for investigating every Pokemon species in the Hisui region. To obtain comprehensive knowledge of Pokemon, the player must catch all the species in the region, completing the first Hisuian Pokedex.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus Ultimate Eevee Guide

This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Eevee!

Eevee

Eevee, the 25th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Normal-type Evolution Pokemon with a small brown body with brown fur, a pair of round brown eyes, a small black nose, a pair of long pointed ears with dark brown and black insides, a small mouth, scruffy fur on top of its head, a large furry collar that is cream-colored, four legs with three toes and pink paw pads, and a bushy tail with cream-colored tips. According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Eevee has the potential to evolve into many forms, and the key to the mysteries of Pokemon evolution lies within Eevee.

Basic Information

Eevee is a Normal type Pokemon, which means it has a weakness to Fighting-type moves (super effective) and an immunity to Ghost-type moves (no effect).

Eevee’s base stats are 55 HP, 55 Attack, 50 Defense, 45 Special Attack, 65 Special Defense, and 55 Speed for a total of 325.

Eevee can be evolved to a Vaporeon by using a Water Stone, a Jolteon by using a Thunder Stone, a Flareon by using a Fire Stone, a Leafeon when near the Moss Rock or by using a Leaf Stone, a Glaceon when near the Ice Rock or by using an Ice Stone, an Espeon when it reaches a High Friendship Level and evolved during the day (without knowing any Fairy type moves), an Umbreon when it reaches a High Friendship Level and evolves during the night (without knowing any Fairy type moves), and a Sylveon when it reaches a High Friendship Level while knowing a Fairy-type move.

When attempting to capture Eevee, it is beneficial to use food such as Springy Mushroom, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans as bait, as Eevee is fond of these types of food.

After capturing or defeating an Eevee in the wild, the player will receive a Razz Berry and a Vivichoke.

Location

Eevee can be found in the following locations:

In the Obsidian Fieldlands: around Horseshoe Plains.

In the Cobalt Coastlands: in Crossing Slope.

In the Alabaster Icelands: near Arena’s Approach and east of Avalugg’s Legacy.

Eevee can be found in the locations mentioned at all times of the day and in every weather condition. Eevee, however, is a rare spawn, so it is recommended to immediately save the game once the player spots one (make sure that the autosave feature is off). Also, Eevee is easily startled and will run away once it notices the player, so approach the Eevee carefully.

Aside from that, Eevee may also appear inside Space-Time Distortions in the Obsidian Fieldlands, in the Crimson Mirelands, in the Coronet Highlands, and in the Alabaster Icelands, but the chances of Eevee appearing in Space-Time Distortions in these locations can be quite rare.

Research Tasks

The following are the Research Tasks in Eevee’s Pokedex entry:

Multiplier Research Task Objectives
x2 Number caught 1/3/6/12/25
Number caught without being spotted 1/2/5/10/20
Times you have seen it use Quick Attack 1/3/8/20/40
x2 Times you have given it food 1/2/3/4/5
Number of different forms you have obtained 2
x2 Number you have evolved 1/2/3/5/10
x2 Investigated more about how Eevee evolves 1

To complete a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry, it should attain a Research Level of 10. To achieve this, the player must fulfill an objective from the Research Tasks, which will raise a certain Research Level. Also, if the player completes a Research Task objective with an x2 multiplier, the entry will earn two Research Levels instead of one.

To quickly complete Eevee’s Pokedex entry, the player can simply feed an Eevee with its preferred food or berries five times, which will tick the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth objectives of the “Times you’ve given it food” Research Task which will immediately raise the Research Level to 10 thanks to its x2 multiplier.

Relevant Request

Eevee is involved in Request 52, called “Eevee’s Evolutions,” Completing this request also ticks the objective of the “Investigated more about how Eevee evolves” Research Task.

To unlock this request, the player must first do the following:

  • Unlock Basculegion as a rideable Pokemon, which is part of ‘The Lordless Island’ Mission (the tenth mission in the game), where the player must quell a frenzied Hisuian Arcanine.
  • Encounter and catch an Eevee to add it to the player’s Pokedex.
  • Complete ‘The Taste of Home’ request (the 48th request in the game) from Floaro in his quarters in Jubilife Village.
  • Catch an additional of any 10 Pokemon.

After completing all the requirements, the player can start this request! Simply enter the Galaxy Hall and proceed to Professor Laventon’s room on the left side of Captain Cyllene’s office. There the player will find a blackboard where the player can accept requests just behind Professor Laventon.

Press the A button to interact with the blackboard, and on the prompt, select the ‘Eevee’s Evolutions’ request. Just like that, the ‘Eevee’s Evolutions’ request has begun!

According to the request description, Floaro, a member of the Construction Corps, wants to discuss Eevee’s evolution with the player.  To locate Floaro, an elderly man dressed in purple and gray attire, proceed by leaving Professor Laventon’s office and Galaxy Hall, heading towards the row of houses located in the center of Jubilife Village, and finally entering the middle house on the left-hand side (assuming the player is facing the Galaxy Hall).

Inside the house, talk to Floaro, and he will say that his Eevee, the Eevee he befriended with the help of Jubilife Muffins from Request 48, is now missing. He will continue that he was hoping to get advice on evolving the Eevee, but now he can’t because the Eevee is now missing.

So, Floaro will ask the player’s help to find his Eevee. He will also recall that the people working at the Galaxy Hall were always fussing over Eevee, which could be a good place to start the search.

After that, exit Floaro’s house, enter the Galaxy Hall, head to the second floor, and enter the room on the left, where the player will find an Umbreon. Interact with the Umbreon, and Floaro will appear behind the player looking for his Eevee.

He will say that his Eevee is not around, but something about the Umbreon reminds him of his Eevee, but he will shut down the thought as just something in his imagination. However, the Umbreon will look sad, and Floaro will think it is hungry.

So, Floaro will ask the player to craft him a Jubilife Muffin as he thinks he will understand the nagging feeling he feels when he looks at Umbreon after it eats the same way his missing Eevee did.

Next, the player must now craft a Jubilife Muffin. To do that, the player needs two Hearty Grains, two Hopo Berries, one Razz Berry, and one Cake-Lure Base.

Hearty Grains can be found planted on the ground or after destroying haystacks in the Crimson Mirelands; can be obtained after catching or defeating Pokemon, specifically Budew, Roselia, Yanma, and Yanmega; or can be purchased for 200 Pokemon Dollars in the Craftworks by talking to Anvin (after it is added to his wares).

Hopo Berries can be obtained from trees with blue-ish green leaves and yellow berries in the following zones: Crimson Mirelands, Coronet Highlands, and Alabaster Icelands; can be obtained after catching or defeating Pokemon, specifically Abra and Kadabra; or can be purchased from the Gingko Guild Merchants for 300 Pokemon Dollars (It is important to note that the items sold by the Gingko Guild Merchants are not consistent and may differ from time to time).

Razz Berries can be obtained from trees with blue leaves with yellow and orange berries in these zones: Crimson Mirelands, Cobalt Coastlands, Coronet Highlands, and Alabaster Icelands; they can be obtained after catching or defeating Pokemon, specifically Happiny, Eevee, Glaceon, Leafeon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon; or can be bought from the Gingko Guild Merchants for 500 Pokemon Dollars

Cake-Lure Base can be bought from the Craftworks, Base Camp, or General Store for 100 Pokemon Dollars after it is added to their wares.

After collecting all the crafting materials, the player can craft a Jubilife Muffin by using the Crafting Kit in the Key Items tab of the player’s Satchel or the crafting bench beside Anvin in the Craftworks if some of the crafting materials are stored in the player’s item storage.

Once that is done, head back to the room on the left on the second floor of the Galaxy Hall and interact with the Umbreon, where Floaro will ask the player for the Jubilife Muffin. Then, after confirming on the prompt, the Umbreon will eat the Jubilife Muffin, to which Floaro will say that it looks exactly like his Eevee when it does that, which makes him think that the Umbreon could somehow be his Eevee. The Umbreon will then interact with Floaro, and he will finally confirm that the Umbreon is indeed his Eevee.

Finally, the request is completed, and the player will be rewarded with one Rare Candy for her efforts. Also, Floaro will give the player an Evolution stone of their choice. The player can choose between a Water Stone, a Fire Stone, or a Thunder Stone.

Once the player has an Eevee and knows all about it, it can be great to use in missions, requests, or even Arceus’ task on the player, which is to catch ‘em all!
