Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a much-awaited addition to the Pokemon series, presenting a fresh take to the well-loved franchise. The game is a semi-open-world, action role-playing game in the ancient Sinnoh region, which was then known as the Hisui region.
The Galaxy Expedition Team, simply called the Galaxy Team, will let the player join the Survey Corps to help keep the Hisui region safe and study the Pokemon found there. One of the primary responsibilities of the player is to complete the Pokedex by capturing every Pokemon species in the region to study them.
This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Leafeon!
Leafeon
Leafeon, the 31st Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Grass-type Verdant Pokemon with tan and green fur, a pair of brown eyes with white pupils, a small brown nose, a small mouth, a long green sprout in front of four tan tufts of fur on the top of its head, a pair of ears that are green on the tips and brown insides, small green sprouts on its chest, back, and legs, four thin legs with brown paws, and a long tail that looks like tattered leaves.
According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Leafeon’s fur has cells that look similar to the ones found in plants. Also, Leafeon’s tail can chop a huge tree with one hit and its tail is so sharp that it exceeds even the sharpness of swords crafted by a master.
Basic Information
Leafeon is a Grass-type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to the Bug-type, Fire-type, Flying-type, Ice-type, and Poison-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Electric-type, Grass-type, Ground-type, and Water-type moves (not very effective).
Leafeon’s base stats are 65 HP, 110 Attack, 130 Defense, 60 Special Attack, 65 Special Defense, and 95 Speed, for a total of 525.
Leafeon can be evolved from an Eevee by using a Leaf Stone or by being near Moss Rock.
The Moss Rock can be found in the Obsidian Fieldlands’ southernmost corner, southwest of The Heartwood or west of the Grandtree Arena (See map below). Approach the Mossy Rock and press the A button to investigate, then a dialogue box will appear saying that touching it feels good in some way. The player will see a large boulder with moss when arriving in the area.
When the player is close to the Moss Rock, they can evolve Eevee into a Leafeon by pressing the up directional button to open their Satchel, choosing Eevee from their party, and then confirming the prompt to evolve Eevee.
Eevee can also evolve into a Vaporeon by using a Water Stone, a Jolteon by using a Thunder Stone, a Flareon by using a Fire Stone, a Glaceon when near the Ice Rock or by using an Ice Stone, a Sylveon when it reaches a High Friendship Level and while knowing a Fairy-type move, an Umbreon when it reaches a High Friendship Level and evolves during the night (without knowing any Fairy-type moves), and an Espeon when it reaches a High Friendship Level and evolves during the day (without knowing any Fairy-type moves).
Throw out Springy Mushrooms, Hearty Grains, or Plump Beans, as these are Leafeon’s favorite foods, to distract it before catching or battling it.
The player will receive a Razz Berry and a Vivichoke when a Leafeon is captured or defeated in the wild.
Location
Leafeon can’t be found in the wild under normal circumstances. There is a very slight possibility, however, that Leafeon will appear inside Space-Time Distortions in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Leafeon’s Pokedex entry:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/2/3/4/5 |
Times you have seen it use Baby-Doll Eyes | 1/2/4/10/15 | |
x2 | Times you have seen it use Leaf Blade | 1/3/8/20/40 |
x2 | Times you have seen it use an agile style move | 1/3/10/30/70 |
For a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry to be considered complete, its Research Level needs to reach Research Level 10. The player can increase the Research Level of a specific entry by completing one objective of its Research Tasks. Additionally, if the player completes a Research Task objective with an x2 multiplier, the entry will gain two Research Levels instead of one.
To quickly complete Leafeon’s Pokedex entry, the player can catch one by evolving an Eevee using a Leaf Stone or by being near a Moss Rock, then use it in battle and use Leaf Blade in Agile Style three times. Doing these will complete the first objective of the “Number caught” Research Task and add 2 to the Research Level because of its x2 multiplier.
Then complete both the first and second objectives of the “Times you have seen it use Leaf Blade” and the “Times you have seen it use an agile style move” Research Tasks will gain eight more Research Levels because of their x2 multipliers to a total of Research Level 10.
