GTA 5: Gang Intimidation Random Event Guide

Gangs come in all shapes and colors.

GTA 5: Gang Intimidation Random Event Guide

Los Santos is home to multiple gangs – eleven, to be more exact. Some of the most notable are the Ballas, The Families (Franklin and Lamar’s gang), and The Lost Motorcycle Club.

Most gangs around Los Santos will leave you alone if you leave them alone. There’s the occasional threat from gang members as you walk past them, but generally, nothing too serious. However, others will try to gang up on your or, worse – bait you into an alley and mug you. You will encounter the latter in one Random Event in GTA 5.

This quick guide outlines everything you need to know about the Gang Intimidation Random Event.

What is the Gang Intimidation Random Event in GTA 5?

The Gang Intimidation Random Event is 1 of 60 Random Events you’ll encounter in GTA 5. In this Random Event, you will spot a random NPC standing on the street waving her hand and asking people for help.

Being the good samaritan you are, you will likely rush to her and offer help, only to be met by multiple armed gang members looking to mug you for an easy payday.

Neither Trevor nor Michael will take this underhanded approach lightly, and you can expect Franklin to feel the same too. Return the favor by pulling a UNO Reverse Card on the lowlives – shoot them down and collect all the money they drop for yourself.

Gang Intimidation Random Event Location

The Gang Intimidation Random Event is a one-off Random Event found only in El Burro Heights. Look for a lady standing on the side of the road asking for help, and get ready to pull out your guns and take out some hoodlums.

Gang Intimidation Random Event Rewards

You can get up to $600 in cash by killing all the gang members in this Random Event. You will also check off 1 Random Event from the 14 you need to complete to get a 100% completion in GTA 5 in the process, so it’s pretty much a win-win.

And, of course, nothing feels better than getting back at some lowlives who just took advantage of someone’s pure heart to score a quick buck.

Who’s The Gangster Now?

Some NPCs in GTA 5 will need legitimate help, such as those robbed by armed individuals in the Mugging Random Events. However, some will try to lure you into an alley and mug you for some cash, like the Gang Intimidation Random Event.

The latter shouldn’t stop you from interacting with NPCs, as these Random Events give Los Santos a sense of realism, and some will even reward you for your efforts.
