Trick out your favorite vehicles in GTA 5.
Los Santos Customs is a popular establishment in GTA 5 where you can bring even the most basic vehicles to get visual and performance upgrades. Los Santos Customs is also the only way to get your car fixed in GTA 5, making it one of the most important businesses in the game.
In this quick guide, we will guide you through everything you need to know about Los Santos Customs in GTA 5.
What is Los Santos Customs?
Los Santos Customs is a vehicle repair and customization shop with multiple branches across Los Santos and Blaine County. Its primary function is to provide repair services alongside customization options to players in GTA 5.
Grand Theft Auto veterans will be very familiar with Los Santos Customs. It is essentially GTA 5’s version of Pay ‘n’ Spray and TransFender garages found in previous games that offer similar services.
Aside from offering general vehicle services to players, Los Santos Customs can function as a safe house, allowing players to lose any Wanted Level they currently have by simply entering the Los Santos Customs garage. However, players need to make sure the LSPD doesn’t spot them as they enter Los Santos Customs, or the shop door will not open and allow entry.
Los Santos Customs can be bought in-game, but only the Route 68, Harmony Drive branch located in Blaine County, can be bought by Franklin.
Los Santos Customs Locations in GTA 5
There are four Los Santos Customs locations in GTA 5:
- Carcer Way, Burton, Los Santos
- Popular Street, La Mesa, Los Santos
- Greenwich Parkway, Los Santos International Airport, Los Santos
- Route 68, Harmony Drive, Blaine County

How do I get into Los Santos Customs?
Getting into Los Santos Customs is easy – just drive to the nearest Los Santos Customs branch and slowly approach the building’s garage door.
The garage door will slowly open and allow you to enter the establishment, giving you access to all the inside services.
You can enter Los Santos Customs to lose any wanted level you currently have. However, you must ensure that you are not followed by or spotted by the LSPD while entering Los Santos Customs.
Is Los Santos Customs Worth Buying?
Los Santos Customs is worth buying in GTA 5. The Route 68 Harmony Drive branch costs only $349,000 to acquire and brings in Franklin’s net income of $1,600 weekly.
Aside from the weekly income potential that Franklin can earn from owning Los Santos Customs, he will also be able to avail upgrades and other services for free.
Unfortunately, Franklin can only get free stuff from his branch at Harmony Drive, and other characters will still have to pay to have their vehicles fixed or customized even when done at Franklin’s Los Santos Customs branch.
Fortunately, you can work around this limitation by using Franklin, driving other characters’ cars, and customizing them at Los Santos Customs in Harmony.
You can do this by switching to Michael or Trevor and driving to Franklin’s location (preferably at Los Santos Customs in Harmony Drive) to easily switch to Franklin and customize Michael or Trevor’s vehicles for them. The same can be done for Amanda and Tracey’s cars.
Vehicle Repairs & More
Los Santos Customs has become essential to any Grand Theft Auto game in the HD Universe. Through Los Santos Customs, you can take any car in the game and customize them extensively to match your preferences in-game.
Some Story Mode missions even require you to take some cars to Los Santos Customs to get appropriate upgrades for upcoming missions. The Big Score easily comes into mind, as Franklin will be tasked to look for three Gauntlets and take them to Los Santos Customs for performance upgrades and bullet-proofing.
